Passion, Creativity, and Service
I am a natural born creative that happened to stumble into business administration by life circumstances. After a long time in the corporate world and a lay off, I saw that event as an opportunity to go after my true passion- a career in interior design. I went back to school and received an interior design certificate from Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, CA.
In the beginning, I started refinishing and repurposing furniture pieces as a calming past time. Something to do while my baby was napping. Once these pieces started taking over my garage, I decided I was going to try to sell my work and ended up selling almost all of my pieces the first time I went to market! Others noticed my work and I was commissioned to complete pieces for private clients which has now led to pursuing and completing interior design projects, home staging projects and now endeavoring into photo styling. Ever evolving, I am constantly learning new "techniques" to exceed mine and my clients expectations. My own aesthetic is simple, clean lines infused with a mix n' match of vintage and modern, patterns, prints, and textures- bold touches of color.
My personal life and interests outside of design are focused around spending time with my family. Cooking, baking, and completing small DIY projects in my home. I also enjoy the outdoors and visiting my local antique and vintage shops- any place where I can draw inspiration from.
