BARCART MAKEOVER

I have been doing tons of purging around my house as of late and use the system I see home organizers use on "Hoarders" (my guilty pleasure, please don't judge haha)

KEEP, TRASH, DONATE

After getting all my bags of donation clothes together, off I went to my local Goodwill to drop them off. Of course I had to peruse what was in the store and stumbled upon this adorable little gem of a cart for $5.99. As the bohochic and 70's bohemian inspired looks are evermore popular and pretty much everywhere now- I instantly saw this carts potential!

Here is theBEFORE pic after I cleaned it with Murphy's wood soap.

I knew I wanted to go bright white with the frame to really freshen it up, but was a bit stuck with the top- after a few options, I decided to cover it with fabric, then cover the fabric with the thinnest clear vinyl the fabric store had to protect the fabric from spills and stains. I saw 2 choices in fabric that I Ioved:

Although I really like the bright green palm leaf print, I felt the cart might look a little too "Golden Girls" haha. My aim was to freshen it up with a modern twist so I went with the geometric print. I love how it turned out.

The casters make this an ideal multifunctioning cart for small spaces and apartments. It can be used as a rolling bar cart, a microwave cart in the kitchen, under a window you can keep your indoor succulents happy, books, or as an entryway table.
